These terms apply to every licence bought from this site. By placing an order you accept them. The software itself is supplied under the licence terms shown by the installer.
1. What you are buying
A licence key that switches Hybrid AD Manager on one installation from the free edition to the edition, number of Active Directory domains and number of concurrent seats stated in your order, for 12 months from the date the key is issued. The free edition can be used before buying to confirm the product does what you need; we recommend it.
2. One installation
A key is issued for the Installation ID and Domain SID you give when ordering and works only on that server in that domain. If you give the wrong identifiers, the key will not install. Check them on the console's Licence page before ordering; opening the order page from the console's Buy Licence button fills them in for you. If you replace the server, a replacement key for the remaining term is available on request with the new identifiers, at our discretion and normally at no charge.
3. No refunds once a key is issued
If payment is taken but no key can be issued through our fault, we will either issue the key or refund the payment in full, at your choice.
4. Renewal
Licences do not renew automatically and we take no recurring payment. The console shows a warning for the last 30 days of the term. Renewing while a licence is still valid at the same quantities adds 12 months to its current expiry date; renewing after it has lapsed starts a new 12-month term from the date of issue. A renewal placed with more than six months left keeps the current seats and domains (see 4a for adding to them); a renewal with six months or less left may raise them, in which case the new key starts a fresh 12-month term from the day it is issued at the new quantities. Renewal discounts, where offered, depend on our still holding your order details (see the privacy statement).
4a. Adding seats or domains during the term
While a licence has more than six months left, extra seats or domains can be added to it from the console's Licence page ("Add seats or domains"). The price is the add-on price for the months remaining, rounded up to whole months, and a replacement key is issued with the same expiry date and the higher counts; it is installed over the old key. With six months or less remaining, seats and domains are changed by renewing at the new quantities instead. Upgrades never reduce what the current licence includes.
5. Price and payment
Prices are as shown on the order page at the time of ordering, in US dollars or pounds sterling, and are the full amount charged. TideReach Ltd is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added or shown; customers outside the United Kingdom are responsible for any tax due in their own country. Payment is by card through Stripe. Your key is sent to the email address given in the order.
6. Support and updates
Updates released during the term are included and are installed by running the newer installer. Support is by email at license@hybridadmanager.tidereach.uk for licence and order questions and feedback@hybridadmanager.tidereach.uk for product problems, on a reasonable-endeavours basis with no guaranteed response time.
7. Liability
Hybrid AD Manager makes changes to your directory only when you tell it to, using your own credentials and permissions. You are responsible for what is changed with it and for keeping backups. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to a licence is limited to the amount paid for that licence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
